BEK is an independent, neutral consultant helping employers spend informatively & wisely on their employee prescription benefits programs.

How We Help

BEK reviews & analyzes current programs for inefficiencies to provide cost savings or reveal more available benefits for same cost. BEK's transparent approach reveals a program's profit margins & how it increases an employer's prescription costs. Companies will have greater access to their payments, costs, & actual returns.

After a thorough analysis, BEK can also offer unbiased recommendations guiding the employer thru the process of choosing a more cost effective pharmacy benefit management program.

Audit & Assessment

Prescription Benefits Management

Audits are a check and balance—a means to measure a PBM's performance and hold it accountable to the contract it signed. Audits serve as a benchmark and provide insight and clarity in determining financial expectations and vendor performance. Fraud, Waste and Abuse audits identify problem claims, members or providers by looking for high-cost claims, controlled substance abuse and outlier pharmacy performance. BEK employs a complex series of algorithms to identify data trends to protect your PBM investment and member well being.

Evaluation

Clinical Program Evaluation

Complex variables—formulary management, step therapy, use of mail service pharmacies, specialty medications, generic definitions and pricing and much more—impact how members use a prescription drug plan and, ultimately, how much a plan pays for its coverage. Expert advice and detailed benefit modeling helps you control these complex variables.
